Kamiakin Requirements for Foreign Exchange Students

Some very useful information for Foreign Exchange Students which will spend this year in Kamiakin High:

* To take 6 classes each semester. Go to the "Classes Available" page

* Each semester you will have English(Mr. Johns suggest Junior English) and American West History for fist semester and United States History for the second semester.

* Find out in your school if you will use courses taken in Kamiakin for credit toward your graduation in your home country or does your home country high school required your to complite certain courses during your year at Kamiakin.

* Mr. Johns will be back to school after summer vacation on August 14th.

* School starts in the fall on August 30th.

* Your counselor will register you for classes by appointment. He will schedule through your host parent. Appointment will be on put the date, August __ if you are here. If not you will be scheduled for August .

* If you interested in music at Kamiakin, either vocal or instrumental music, Mr. Johns will arrange an audition with our music instructor. You must let him know if you are interested.

* After finishing school year, you will NOT be recieving a diploma, but rather a certificate of attendance of which you will be recognized in commencement activities.
