Tech Prep/Dual Credit
Intern students are eligible for college credits through the Tech Prep Dual Credit program at Columbia Basin College. For more information, follow the "Dual Credit Info" link below. To sign up for Dual Credit, click on the 2nd link.
This is a great deal for collge credits. The fee is minimal as compared to waiting to get into college and paying 10 times the cost. Another benefit is that you may get to skip the first class in a related series of classes. For instance, if you were to take PC Hardware related classes, you get to skip the first two classes because our A+ PC Trouble Shooting and PC Intern classes are equivelant to these at Columbia Basin College (CBC).
Some students are concerned that the credits will not transfer to a four year school. They will transfer as elective classes if you finish your AA degree at CBC.

You do not need to pay to register. Sometime in the winter CBC will contact you for payment. There is no penalty for not paying the registration fee. You simply do not get the credits.
