I was born in Chicago, Illinois;
graduated from Farragut High and joined the Navy (WAVES) the following
October.
I began pursuing my college education immediately after completing
my military service.
1970-72- Kennedy-King Jr. College-AA social work
1975-76- Chicago Teachers’ College-Early Ed.
1972-74- Mundelein College-BS sociology
1976-78- EWU-Master in Social Work (MSW)
1980- I began working for KSD attached to Special Services as school
district social worker.
1983- I entered the classroom and taught at the elementary level
in Washington, Eastgate and Canyon View.
1997- I began teaching math in my current position at the juvenile
center.
2007- This year along with several of my colleagues, I have undertaken
the challenge of the NBPTS and hope to become certified in 2008. |
